THOUGHTS:

The Kingsmen have been and continue to be a mainstay in Southern Gospel Music. Ray Dean Reese continues to lead this incredible group as they release yet another stellar recording that lifts up the name of Jesus! More To The Story features twelve fantastic new songs of hope and inspiration.

This exciting new project opens with “Church Of The Great I Am,” a fun, uptempo tune that simply says: I am a part of the Church of the Great I Am! I am washed in His blood, forgiven, and redeemed! Chris Bryant’s strong lead is featured on the verses of this catchy tune. “I See A Lamb” is a powerful ballad featuring Alan Kendall, Chris Bryant, and Chris Jenkins on the verses. Chris Bryant is featured on the title track, a groovy, mid-tempo tune that simply says: don’t you worry because God is the author of your story. He has everything under control and there is more to your story. Alan Kendall takes the lead on the current single “These Are The Days,” a driving, mid-tempo track. This catchy lyric reminds us of our mission to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to all. These are the days for Faith to shine brighter! Make His Name known! Chris Jenkins shines on the powerful mid-tempo ballad “When The Old, Old Story Was New.” This well crafted song simply says: The Gospel still has the power to save! I’ll tell the Good News now like I would have back then when the old story was new! Alan Kendall takes the lead once again on the deeply moving ballad “What The Blood Does,” which beautifully tells of the transforming power of Christ and His blood. “Just Can’t Get Over” is a mid-tempo tune reminiscent of early 2000’s Kingsmen style. Chris Bryant delivers a powerful vocal on this great song that tells of the joy of being saved. Ray Dean Reese and Chris Jenkins share the lead on the tender, mid-tempo track “Still I Climb.” This song talks about perseverance and that God is with you on the journey of life. Chris Jenkins shines on “I Am Forgiven,” a beautiful song that thanks God for His forgiveness. We are undeserving, but He loves us anyway. “Ready For The Change” is a fun, energy filled tune that looks forward to the day of Christ’s return. “The Winds And The Waves Still Know” is a powerful track that reminds us that even in the darkest and most hectic storms, Christ is there and in control. Christ can calm the storms and keep us afloat. This incredible album closes with the Chris Bryant penned Christmas related tune “Tell It On The Mountain.” This fun track encourages listeners to tell the Good News of Christ!
