THOUGHTS:

Hailing from Missouri, Voice Of Truth Quartet has been sharing the Gospel through song for years. I Remember The Moment is the latest recording from these talented men of God. This exciting project features eleven songs of hope and encouragement, several of which are from the pen of tenor singer Scott Edwards. This is my first time listening to this group and I must say that I am impressed.

This well crafted project opens with a great mid-tempo track entitled “Feeling Like I Want To Go Home.” “Coming Out Of The Storm” is another mid-tempo tune that encourages listeners to keep pressing on through your trials. God will help you through and you’ll come out of your storm. “I Can’t Wait To See What God Is Gonna Do” is a fun, groovy tune that features Scott Edwards and looks forward to what God has in store for us. The title track, featuring lead singer Paul Holden, is a powerful ballad that tells of Christ’s saving power. I remember that moment the Master passed by and saved my soul. Bass singer Jonathan Harris shines on the groovy “That’s What He Said.” This fun song simply reminds us of Christ’s promises. “He Gave Me Jesus” is a song of praise that lifts up the name of Jesus. The Greatest Gift of all is Jesus. Baritone Ken Dodd is featured on the powerful ballad, “Saved By The Blood.” Jonathan Harris is featured again on “Somebody Holy Passed By,” a fun,up-tempo tune that showcases his smooth bass. “I Identify” powerfully proclaims our identity in Christ. I identify as a Christian! I am His and He is mine. I belong to Him. I am a child of the King.“There Ain’t No Place Like Home” is a fun, groovy tune that looks forward to the joys of Heaven. The album closes with a great rendition of the Kyla Rowland classic “I Made It By Grace.

VOICE OF TRUTH QUARTET HAS GAINED A NEW FAN! FANTASTIC VOCALS, GREAT SONGS, AND TOP NOTCH MUSICIANSHIP. HIGHLIGHTS: “THAT’S WHAT HE SAID,” “I MADE IT BY GRACE,” AND “SOMEBODY HOLY PASSED BY.”
