Be The Reason is another top notch recording for the Steeles. This incredible family trio shines on their second StowTown Records release, which features eight well crafted songs of hope and inspiration.
Brad takes the lead on the opening track “Braggin’ On Jesus,” which simply says: let’s take turns bragging on Jesus and praising His Name. “Undefeated” is another fantastic worship style song that praises Christ the champion. Who can stand against the God who reigns victorious?! Patriarch Jeff Steele takes the lead on the title track that encourages listeners to be a light for Christ. Show kindness always. A simple smile or a word of hope can make all the difference in someone’s life. Brad delivers a stellar performance on the deeply moving “A Hundred Different Altars.” This powerful song reminds us that everyone has a burden and that our merciful God meets us wherever we are. Sherry takes the lead on “Every Almost,” which reminds us that God has it all under control. He works all things for our good. “On The King’s Shoulders” is a fun, groovy tune that reminds us that you can place all your burdens on Jesus’ shoulders. He will carry your load. He sees a grain of sand when we see a boulder. “In The Dark” is a fun, mid-tempo tune that simply says: God will bring you through the dark times in your life. He is always with you. This incredible album closes with “On The Way,” which thanks Christ for His many blessings and for those on the way.

ANOTHER STELLAR RECORDING FROM THIS LEGENDARY FAMILY GROUP. TOP NOTCH VOCALS, WELL CRAFTED SONGS, AND INCREDIBLE MUSICIANSHIP. HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: “A HUNDRED DIFFERENT ALTARS,” “ON THE KING’S SHOULDERS,” and “BE THE REASON.”
