THOUGHTS:

Always Grace is yet another stellar addition to Tribute Quartet’s discography. This exciting new album features ten well crafted songs of hope and grace. This is the first album to feature new material recorded by the current lineup. Speaking of which, this current lineup featuring Gary Casto, Josh Singletary, Gus Gaches, and Ian Owens continues to impress.

“Halfway Up The Mountain” is a fun, up-tempo tune that encourages listeners to keep pressing on though the way is long and tough. This catchy track is the group’s current radio single and is already becoming a hit. Ian Owens takes the lead on the smooth, mid-tempo tune “Nobody’s Too Broken.” This tender track reminds us that God loves us no matter what we have done. No one is too far gone. No one is too broken. Gary Casto’s signature lead is featured on “That’s Trusting God,” which reminds us that God has it all under control. Gus Gaches shines on the mid-tempo ballad “It’s Always Been Grace.” This powerful song tells of the transforming Grace of God. “Three Little Words” is a fun, mid-tempo tune with a jazzy, old-timey style. Gus Gaches and Ian Owens trade off on the verses which remind us of Christ’s Love for us. He chose us. He forgave us. He loves us. “So Many Reasons” is a fantastic mid-tempo tune that simply says: we have so many reasons to praise Christ. He gives us blessings on blessings though we do not deserve it. Gus Gaches takes the lead once again on the powerful ballad “The Cross Tells A Different Story.” This incredible song reminds us that we are forgiven and free in Christ. When accusations, doubt, and more arise, tell them that the Cross tells a different story! Gaches delivers a fantastic vocal performance here. Ian Owens shines on the groovy “Mercy’s Gonna Meet You There.” This fun song simply says: His Love is never gonna leave you. He has a plan for your life. There’s gonna be peace, hope, and joy in your tomorrows. Mercy is gonna meet you there! Josh Singletary takes the lead on “Glory,” a powerful, worshipful ballad. This stellar album closes with “Free Indeed,” an up-tempo tune that encourages listeners to live in the light of Christ. Live in His freedom. Walk in the victory of Jesus! If the Son has set you free, you are free indeed!
