THOUGHTS:

It has been eight years since the Crabb Family has released a full length album. 20/20 features ten new songs that will truly minister to all who listen! Jason, Adam, and Aaron Crabb and their sisters Terah Penhollow and Kelly Bowling deliver a simply beautiful and profound recording that captures the transforming power of Christ in our lives.

The album opens with the upbeat “I See Revival,” featuring Jason, which tells of the power of Christ through revival sweeping through a small town. “Stones” is a powerful, well crafted ballad that calls for everyone to drop their stones for we all have sins of our own. “Mountaintop For Me” a worshipful mid-tempo track that features each member and simply reminds us that God has it all under control. Though I walk through the valley, God has a mountaintop for me! “Walk On Water” is a beautiful, mid-tempo track that simply says: “We don’t have to walk on water, we just have to know someone who can.” Next, the group’s harmonies are front and center on the powerful ballad “My King Is Known By Love,” which simply says: God is known by a Love that never turns anyone away! “The Altar Still Calls” is a bluesy groove that reminds us that Christ still saves and still calls us to Him. “Never Been” is without a doubt my favorite track on this album. This well crafted ballad beautifully tells of a loved one arriving in Heaven. It simply, yet powerfully says: “I have never been more heartbroken, but you have never been more alive.” “Keep Me” is a tender, worshipful ballad that asks Christ to keep us focused on Him. Keep us falling on our knees before You. “If God Is For Me” features guest vocals from Mike Bowling (Kelly’s husband and member of the Bowling Family) and reminds us that if my God is with me, I’ve got the victory every time. Nothing can stand against us if God is on our side! This incredible album closes with a rousing Gospel flavored “Sister, Play That Tambourine,” which praises Christ for His Salvation!
