One of the most underrated quartets on the road today, Master’s Voice is back to kick off 2020 with an exciting new recording: Solace! 2020 marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the group in Southern Gospel Music. This project is quintessential Master’s Voice! Solace features incredible vocals and powerful message-driven songs that are sure to delight those who listen!
This stellar album opens with the catchy mid-tempo tune “Let Us Not Grow Weary,” which features David Folenius, encourages listeners to be positive even though the world is a troubled place. T.J. Evans takes the lead on the first radio single from the project: “He’s Coming Back.” This Geron Davis penned song reminds believers that Chris will soon return to take us home! “Things Only God Can Do,” marvels at the power of God and His miracles. Ricky Capps delivers an incredible vocal performance on this well crafted song. Jerry Pilgrim’s smooth bass voice is featured on the haunting tune “Thinking Outside Of The Grave,” which reminds listeners that this life isn’t all there is if you believe in Christ. “Five Minutes” is a fun quartet tune penned by Rebecca Peck and Dianne Wilkinson. This uptempo track featuring David Folenius reminds listeners of the promise of eternal life with Christ. Next, the group brings back one of their own hits “This Same Jesus,” which previously appeared on 2011’s New Grace and 2016’s Undivided. T.J. Evans shines on this powerful arrangement. Capps is featured once again on the fun, mid-tempo tune “Peace Like A River,” which tells of the true joy that only Christ can give. “At Home,” featuring Jerry Pilgrim, is a catchy mid-tempo country styled tune that tells of the wonders that Heaven holds. T.J. Evans is featured once again on the powerful ballad “Pray Through Me.” This incredible lyric calls upon the Holy Spirit to pray through us when we are without words. “Because I Said So,” is a simply beautiful ballad that reminds us that we are forgiven, set free, and loved because He said so. We are free from Sin, not because of anything we have said or done. It is because of Christ! Ricky Capps delivers one of his best vocal performances on this track in my opinion. Evans once again takes the lead on a quartet style song “Last Of The Last Days,” which looks to Heaven and Christ’s return. “It’s gonna be the last of the last days any day now!” This incredible album closes with the moving, mid-tempo ballad “Took It All Away.” This Annie McRae penned song tells of the endless blessings that Christ has given us. It makes a powerful statement: if You took it all away, I still would praise You anyway!

2020 IS OFF TO A FANTASTIC START!! MASTER’S VOICE ONCE AGAIN DELIVERS A GREAT ALBUM FEATURING POWERFUL SONGS, STELLAR VOCALS, AND EXCELLENT MUSICIANSHIP.
