THOUGHTS:

We Have This Moment continues the long tradition of top notch Gaither videos. This uplifting presentation, recorded in the classic Gaither studios, features all twelve songs from the Gaither Vocal Band's most recent CD. In addition, the group treats viewers to an impromptu version of "Low Down The Chariot," as well as their version of the classic "We'll Talk It Over," now featuring Reggie Smith. Perhaps the highlight of this video, aside from the incredible songs, are the conversations with the group, Gloria Gaither and band leader Kevin Williams which provide insight into their camaraderie and the inspiration for the songs. One particular story that stood out was from Todd Suttles. Suttles' young daughter loves the Gaither lights audiences get at concerts and reminds him to shine his light. This is great reminder to us all to spread the Gospel to all we meet. Be a Light to the world. Show people the Love of God. Be an example as He is an example to us. We are the stars! This is a unique video in that the performances are done concept video style with several including lyrics and extra scenes to enhance the message. Speaking of messages, this video and CD reminds us that though we have our differences, we are all children of God. The title song also reminds us that we should cherish the little moments we have now. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come. We have this moment today. Overall, this is a definite must buy for Gaither Vocal Band fans, though most of the concept videos can be found on YouTube.

4.5 out of 5 stars!
