THOUGHTS:

This record left me speechless! I can’t even begin to put into words how incredible this project is. The Isaacs are back again with fifteen heartfelt songs all written by group members Sonya Isaacs Yeary and Becky Isaacs Bowman with exception of the classic hymn “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.” Speaking of the timeless hymn, legendary football player Terry Bradshaw is a guest vocalist on the group’s beautiful rendition. Bradshaw also served as executive producer on this project.

This record is simply brilliant! From the production, to the music, the songwriting, and the vocals, this is the best album released by the group hands down. These powerful songs were born of personal struggles and the journey from that pain to praise. The more lighthearted fair on this album are: the title track “Nature’s Symphony,” which incorporates the sounds of birds and wind, the rollicking “Bird On The Wing,” the mid-tempo country style “Fields,” and “Rocks,” which both blend nature and the Love of Christ together well. The latter is a merry retelling of the story of Jesus and the adulteress woman. The first single “This Is The Year,” is also a fun song of praise celebrating our freedom in Christ!

Sonya takes the lead on the beautiful ballad of praise “I Love You More,” which Becky co-wrote following Sonya’s delivery of her stillborn daughter as the healing had begun. This heartfelt lyric reminds us that no matter what we face, God will pull us through. “Without some pain, how would we ever know, that our tears break Your heart.” What a powerful statement! Also born out this tragedy is the sincere, raw and honest “Keep Breathing.” Sonya wrote this incredible lyric a week after the tragic birth in 2014. The song says “Keep feeling, Keep trying, Keep praying, Keep rising!” When it seems like all hope is lost, listen to your heart because it’s still beating! This is one of, in my opinion, Sonya’s best vocal performances in her career.

Matriarch Lily Isaacs is featured on the tender ballad “I Find It All In You,” which proclaims the peace she found in Christ as she laid her 95 year old mother to rest. This is definitely a standout track on this album.

Becky takes the lead on “Dining With The King,” while Sonya leads “God Is Still With Me,” which tell of God’s faithfulness while healing Becky of a battle with Crohn’s Disease. “God Is Still With Me,” is a fun up-tempo song that reminds us that “in the after there is joy and laughter.” The tender, warm ballad “Dining With The King,” simply says the King of Kings is calling you today! You don’t have to live in poverty. From unworthy to majesty, you can go from begging to dining with the King.

Ben Isaacs gives quite possible his best vocal performance on the personal lyric “If That’s What it Takes,” which is born from issues of a family member’s battle with addiction. This beautiful song asks God for strength to the life He wants us to live. Please humble us O Lord! We surrender it all to you Lord! “Lord give me strength to make it one more day, if that’s what it takes.”

“Yours Amen,” “Lord Of My Heart,” and “None So Lovely” are incredible songs of worship about the Love of Christ and His sacrifice. “Yours Amen,” says that Christ is my peace of mind, my strength! I trust in the victory Christ has already won! “Lord Of My Heart,” praises the Lord for His Mercy, Grace, and Love. I don’t deserve your Grace, but You give it to me anyway! “None So Lovely,” says Christ’s sacrifice has made us worthy. His light of truth has pierced the darkness of this world. Nothing can compare to His beauty and Love!

FINAL THOUGHTS:

THIS IS MY FAVORITE ALBUM OF THE YEAR HANDS DOWN! AMAZING VOCALS, HEARTFELT SONGS, AND INCREDIBLE PRODUCTION QUALITY. GET THIS CD ASAP!! MUST BUY! THIS RECORD IS ANNOINTED BY CHRIST NO QUESTION ABOUT IT! THE ISAACS CONTINUE TO SOLIDFY THEMSELVES AMONG THE BEST IN SOUTHERN GOSPEL/BLUEGRASS MUSIC.
