One of Southern Gospel’s most beloved mixed groups, The Perrys, are back with an exciting EP. Keep Movin’ Along features seven songs of faith that are sure to delight listeners.
The album opens with a fun, mid-tempo tune entitled “It Never Gets Old.” This catchy song simply proclaims that the story of the Gospel never gets old! Libbi Perry Stuffle’s signature alto is featured on the powerful ballad “Walk Me Through,” which ask God to be with us always. “Give me grace to keep my eyes on You. Be my comfort, be my guide.” Andrew Goldman takes the lead on the anthem “Take You To The Cross.” This powerful song that reminds listeners that the Cross is our solid ground in this uneasy time. If you are asking if you are loved, let me take you to the Cross. “That’s How You Know,” is a groovy song featuring bass singer Jared Stuffle. This fun tune praises Christ, the Risen Messiah reminding us of His Miracles. Stuffle has improved greatly as a bass vocalist. “Tailor Made,” featuring baritone Troy Peach, is a mid-tempo country styled ballad that tells of the transforming power of Christ. He has clothed me in His Love and now I’m whiter than snow! “Never A Time,” featuring Libbi Perry Stuffle, reminds listeners that Christ is always faithful. There was nor will there ever be a time when Christ has not been faithful. He keeps His Promises. This stellar album closes with a classic convention style song: “Keep Movin' Along.” This fun quartet tune showcases the group’s incredible harmonies. Jared Stuffle’s bass once again shines.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
THE PERRYS ONCE AGAIN DELIVER A WELL CRAFTED AND MOVING ALBUM. GREAT SONGS, STELLAR VOCALS, AND TOP NOTCH PRODUCTION QUALITY. MY ONLY GRIPE IS THAT I WISH THERE A FEW MORE SONGS. HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: “KEEP MOVIN’ ALONG,” “TAILOR MADE,” AND “THAT’S HOW YOU KNOW.”
